Welcome to J. Mamon Photography. By booking a session, accessing this website, or purchasing any products, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using this site or engaging in services.

1. General Information

This website and its content are owned and operated by J. Mamon Photography, located in Ruston, Louisiana. These terms apply to all website visitors, clients, and anyone using or purchasing our photography services.

By accessing this site, you represent that you are at least 18 years old (or have parental consent) and agree to abide by these terms, our privacy policy, and all applicable laws.

2. Booking & Payment

Session dates are not secured until a non-refundable retainer fee is received. The remaining balance is due by the date specified in your invoice or client agreement. Payments are accepted via approved methods listed on your booking form or invoice.

Cancellations or reschedules must comply with the studio’s Cancellation & Reschedule Policy provided at booking. Failure to pay balances or attend sessions may result in cancellation and forfeiture of retainers.

3. Delivery of Images & Turnaround

Edited images are delivered digitally via an online gallery within the timeframe stated during booking. Gallery turnaround times may vary depending on the season, project type, or workload.

Once your gallery is delivered, it remains available for download for the period specified (usually 30 days). Clients are responsible for saving and backing up their images before the gallery expires.

4. Copyright & Usage Rights

All images are the exclusive property and copyright of J. Mamon Photography and are protected by U.S. copyright law. Clients receive personal usage rights for printing, sharing, and display, but commercial use or resale is prohibited without written permission.

J. Mamon Photography retains the right to use images for portfolio, marketing, advertising, social media, and promotional purposes unless the client submits a written request for privacy before the session or signing the contract.

5. Model Release

By booking and participating in a session, you grant J. Mamon Photography permission to use your likeness, photographs, and videos for lawful promotional purposes unless you opt out in writing prior to the session.

6. Refunds & Revisions

Due to the custom nature of photography, all retainers and payments are non-refundable once services have been rendered.
No requests for re-edits or retouching requests outside the original editing style or scope will be incurred.

7. Photo Books & Prints

Photo books and print products may be ordered as an add on. Prices and availability are subject to change. Custom product orders are final once approved for print and cannot be canceled or refunded.

8. Limitation of Liability

While every effort is made to provide professional, high-quality images, J. Mamon Photography is not liable for circumstances beyond control (equipment failure, weather, illness, accidents, lighting, etc.). Liability for any claim shall be limited to the amount paid for the session or product in question.

9. Rescheduling or Photographer Substitution

If the photographer becomes ill, injured, or otherwise unable to perform, the client will be notified promptly, and every reasonable effort will be made to reschedule or provide a comparable substitute photographer.

10. Privacy & Data Use

Your information is collected and used according to our Privacy Policy. By booking a session or using this website, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in that policy.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be handled in the appropriate courts located in Lincoln Parish, Louisiana.
